ABA tenure track position
Penn State Harrisburg, School of Behavioral Sciences and Education seeks applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor of Applied Behavior Analysis beginning Fall Semester 2011. A Ph.D. in psychology, education, or related area and board certification or eligibility for board certification in behavior analysis, required. Preference will be given to candidates with research interests in autism, behavioral medicine, or organizational behavior management; however, all research interests will be considered. The successful candidate will teach and advise graduate students, maintain an active research program, and provide service. Teaching responsibilities may include teaching undergraduate and graduate courses in experimental analysis of behavior, single subject design, and other courses.
One of three psychology graduate programs within the School of Behavioral Sciences and Education, the ABA program provides a specialized M.A. The course sequence and experience requirements maintain BACB approval. The College’s close proximity to the state capital provides easy access to Washington DC, Baltimore, Philadelphia, and New York City.
