The
therapists are responsible for data collection as well as implementation
of the protocols I write for your child. They should be with the
child at all times, working in various areas of the house and in
the community.
- Your therapist will
come and take the child to another room.
- Some sessions might
look like the child isn’t doing anything (in the beginning)
- Some programs
will look like play
- Others will look
more like drills
- Your child might
resist a bit. That’s OK. It’s better to let him/her
work it out with the therapist than for you to intervene (unless,
of course, you think something really wrong is going on)
